Glossary of terms -

Bachir

From the Hebrew meaning "chosen." Plural is "Bachirim."
One of the many names given to those set apart for the King. Those who wield His authority on behalf of the human race. These are the people who follow the King most closely, who have given up everything to know Him and to serve Him.

Unfortunately, many of the Bachirim are easily seduced by the flesh, or they become arrogant and start to assume their every opinion is also the King's opinion. There is nothing more dangerous and destructive that a Bachir who is not fully submitted to the King.

Mazik

A Hebrew word for demon. Plural is "Mazikim."
The Mazikim are those who followed Satan in rebellion against the King at the beginning of time. They gave up their high places as Malachim and became warped versions of themselves, forever seeking to possess human hosts in order to taste and touch.

Unlike humanity, they are unable to repent and exist as angry, bitter creatures, opposing the King in all things. They resent humanity for the gift of the flesh yet also hate humanity for being made in the King's image.

When they possess a mind, they seek entrance through a negative thought, then they build on this, convincing their host that such thoughts are justified and normal. Thus a human will actually defend a mazik because they assume they are defending their own minds.

Malach

Hebrew word meaning "messenger," usually synonymous with the Greek word that gives us "Angel." Plural is Malachim.

The Malachim are inhuman, powerful, beautiful spirits whose love is the King and who serve Him with all of their beings. They usually take on a human form, but it is noticeably larger and more powerful than an ordinary man.
Because they love the King, they also serve the King's chosen people. The Mazikim refused to do this, believing mankind to be filthy bags of flesh.

The Malachim are not flesh, nor do they crave it. They are content to follow the King's orders and to know His presence - the one thing now denied to the Mazikim.

Sitra Achra

An Aramaic term meaning "The other side." Essentially the demonic kingdom that, at present, rules over the Earth. The Sitra Achra is not a unified Kingdom, and its main currency is information. The mazikim hoard this, selling it to the highest bidder.Although ruled by HaSatan, he does not trust his troops. There are four main Lords, but this is apt to change as the mazikim forever try to build their own little kingdoms.

 Malkut

Hebrew word for "Kingdom." This is the King's Kingdom that will one day encompass the world, bringing with it true peace, true joy and true prosperity. The Malkhut can refer to the King's Great City which exists outside of time, or it can refer to the King's domain which is, first and foremost, within the hearts of His people. The Malkhut does not advance through war, but through kindness, through truth, through healing and through love. So much is internal that it keeps the growth of the King's Kingdom far away from the eyes of the Sitra Achra.
