 Hades Rising

England is Damaged and Hell is Opened
The Magi, two foolish writers and the power and misery of envy and obsession.

Misha Heath is the world’s greatest multi-tasker. Housewife. Mother. Writer. Runner.
Warrior, creator and goddess of an entire other universe.
Just your usual sort of stuff.
Somehow she copes with one foot in a fantasy world made solid, and the other in a world of Angels and demons where the demonic kingdom – the Sitra Achra - fights to destroy every ounce of joy, laughter, peace, friendship or pleasure that exists, and Misha and others like her battle to push back the advancing evil with every waking breath.
It doesn’t leave an awful lot of time for the school run though.

Now there’s a wound in the heart of England, and on the other side of the wound is Hell itself. Hell is a place devoid of everything good, where the broken, ruined shells of human beings live like mindless animals driven only by instinct. It’s the where the people Misha can’t save end up, and it breaks her heart.
Together with her husband and children, as well the intimidating Professor Epton, his niece Jemma and Nathan Redman – whose own dealings with the Sitra Achra threaten them all - Misha seeks a way to heal the wound and seal the gates to Hell.
However, the prince of success is high, and even then, success is only partial.
